I'm reposting Sumeet's note on our Meetup message board about upcoming visits by His Holiness the Dalai Lama to Minneapolis this Sunday, February 21, and March 8 and 9 in Madison, Wisconsin. The March 9 event in Madison, a panel discussion, is also free to watch in streaming video for those interested but unable to attend in person.

Its kind of last minute but His Holiness Dalai Lama is coming to Minneapolis and Wisconsin (nearest to IC). Please see link above. If anyone is interested, this is wonderful opportunity to see him. After meeting his right hand, Taklung Matul, I always wanted to meet him. If anyone else is interested in going, we can plan something out. We can share costs. Wisconsin will be difficult for me personally as it is during weekdays but Minneapolis one can be planned out quickly. Tickets are available for 30$ for members of TAFM and 50$ for non members. Travelling cost can be split. Let me know if anyone is interested.
